The Admirals Arch is a remnant of an ancient cave that was broken by ocean waves and transformed into a natural bridge. Stalactites are still hanging off the top of the arch as the evidence of its unusual history. If you look carefully you can see some basking New Zealand fur seals basking on the rock.

in one word? Pirate-y but of course it's so much more than that The depth of field is perfect, I love how you can see everything about the image in almost perfect clarity save for the middle left, where it seems that seaspray or fog is rolling in. And the sky, oh god, the sky is gorgeous! I really would love to hang out here, dress up as a pirate, and then just read for a while haha. Beautiful photo
Can't get down to the beach anymore, used to be able to, but too many people hurt themselves climbing down. It also used to be all connected, and some tourists were on the far end when the middle bit collapsed, needed to be rescued So not sure how good your pirate escapades will be
