Looking at this photo most people would think it's a historical re-enactment, but it's not an unusual scene over there even now. I love Japan <3

Last year in Tokyo I saw a wedding where the bride was wearing one of those uber-traditional 10 layer kimonos. It was 30 C out. I felt like melting just looking at her.

I love how in weddings everyone is black while only the bride is dressed up white like a goddess. But they move solemnly like its a funeral :P

Well it would be insanely expensive, but the Japanses are one of the heavist shoppers in the world so what else is new? :XD:
I'm more concerned about how well the marraige will last... that's the important thing, if you ask me :)
