its crazy that the architecture around there is able of using colors as bright and fierce as red, and still be able to look like very peaceful places. How the heck they do that ?

If you do teach in Japan be careful not to apply for a job in an e-kaiwa school (Mcdonald like booths that supply english lessons to 1-2 students at a time) They are horrible to work for. A degree in any discipline will allow you to teach as an ALT in an actual school, most likely a Junior high or Elementary which is far more satisfying and rewarding, as your actually allowed to make friends, and I mean that literally. E-kaiwa schools have in their contract conditions that you don't make friends with your students.
