Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Bronies go nuts, and Nintendo Sucks?Equestria Girls
The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

yeah, got ze flu, good timing actually, felt pretty bad before I went to bed on my birthday on the 16th and the last 2 days I've been sitting on the couch in my snuggie (bday present).

I'd very like to draw attention to a very decent DA member ~wazzasay who drew to my attention a possible art theft of my piece [link] at the city's Community colledge equivalent art gallery. He saw my print on display, and I had no idea about it. I first thought it was typical art theft, someone must have nicked a spare print of it I had lying around the TAFE's studio and submitted it as their own work. HOWEVER the real story was much more palatable, my tutor simply used that spare print lying around the studio in a rush to advertise the course I was a student of. She was called up to put on the display at the last minute so she diddnt ask. Sall cool. So I've given him a month sub. Love it when members of the community help each other out.

In other news my PCs GPU has blown up so I've had to upgrade to a GTX275 (darn). I was'nt too pleased on having to upgrade so early after having shelled out for the top components 2 years ago but what can you do. Should arrive Fridayish.

6 out of 16 prints of mine that I entered into the state's annual produce and entertainment show-thing 'The Royal Adelaide show' were selected to go on display during the show, which is good I guess, but bit upset more werent accepted. Could have saved some money there.
