Hiya!
The night I submitted my most recent deviation
[link] I had a little bit of chest pain that I thought my be some sort of viral infection or something causing a cough or two as well. So I slept on it, but shortly figured out I couldn't lay on my right side or my back, and it was just generally uncomfortable anyway I lay. So I went to my GP at 12 the next day skippng uni and they requested I get an Xray, which I did and found out I had a collapsed lung

heh. So yeah being as serious as it is, the emergency centerat the hospital immediately admitted me into surgery. Very swish.
So I saw the GP at 12 and finished surgery at 5pm. Great service! All this was on Wednesday, so since then I've been lying in an awesome hospital bed drugged out of my mind with a hose hooked up to a water feature that was sucking air out of the chest cavity where my lung usually was. Was quite soothing at night, sounded like rain

I really actually quite enjoyed it.. I mean other than the apparent seriousness of the condition I had a great time

Was kind of like being at a youth hostel.
Apparently my lung had collapsed up to 90% of it's usual size, but I diddnt notice the shortness of breath but apparently it delibitates most people who it happens to. The scary thing is though that it happened spontaneously. I wasnt doing anything stressful, or had people stabbing me with pens or anything, just collapsed on it's own. Apparently it's relatively common with tall, thin athletic males like myself

So there ya go!

An exciting few days for me.
I've noticed you left alt-process printing
Sounds like you're in good hands. Hope you get fixed up OK!
They gonna rebuild you, better, faster, stronger like the million dollar man?
The pain really wasnt that bad. Just the sort of thing you might get sitting in an awkard position for a long time, but more persistant.
I had no idea such serious shit happened so spontaneously!
